Prenatal Refresher Series
This prenatal refresher course is for parents who are birthing again, whether they are expecting their 2nd, 3rd or 4th baby. This experiential class is lively and interactive – not just obstetric information you read about in a book. Perhaps the first time you encountered birth, postpartum or parenting, it wasn’t what you expected. There may be some processing that goes along with this as you reflect on your ‘first time’. Perhaps you are experiencing apprehension about your child’s emotional wellbeing in your upcoming labour and beyond. We will work with these topics in a very supportive manner.
As parents, you will:
Reflect and learn from your first/recent birth- Review labour-coping techniques and learn new ones
- Find new meaning in your previous birth story
- Sibling preparation for the birth and the new baby
- Taking the time to enjoy this pregnancy
- Connect with your baby through creative exercises

Three (3) semi-private or private sessions are available and scheduled at your convenience.
