Baby Care & Breastfeeding 101

TIME: 6:00 – 9:00pm

This session combines baby care basics and the art of breastfeeding in one class.

BABY CARE BASICS: Learn about common newborn tests & procedures, diapering, & baby wearing with the latest wraps and carriers. Review cord care, swaddling, and tips on how to sooth infant crying.

BREASTFEEDING 101:                                                                                                    Parents will gain a better understanding of breastfeeding. Establish appropriate positioning and latch; explore the anatomy & physiology of the breast & milk production; how to mitigate common breastfeeding challenges; pumping & storage; postpartum adjustment.
